Princeton High School is proud to welcome the
Northern Illinois University Jazz Ensemble
Director: Ron Carter
On that Friday afternoon, Ron Carter and the members of his jazz ensemble will provide clinics and masterclasses for the students of the Logan Jr. High and PHS Jazz Bands. After a swingin' afternoon of musical growth, and a hearty meal provided by the Princeton Optimist Club and the Logan/PHS Band Parents, all three groups will put on a concert.
The Logan Junior High Jazz Band will kick-off the concert, followed by a set from the Princeton High School Jazz Band. Then the NIU Jazz Ensemble will take the stage to finish out the evening with two sets of toe-tapping, dancing-in-the-aisles, swing and jazz.
The entire audience was on their feet by the end of last year's concert; it is a show not to be missed!
