Necessary Equipment
Surface PreparationRemove as much surface buildup as possible prior to using Green-Kleen. We recommend heated, deionized water to remove surface buildup, and to rinse the surface after product application.ApplicationThis product can be used with a sprayer or any chemical injection applicator. Using a pump sprayer, apply Green-Kleen to the surface using a side to side wetting pattern starting at the bottom and working upward. Make sure to evenly and fully soak the surface. Allow the product to soak as long as possible without drying. Reapply the product if areas do become dry. Rinse using a pressure washer or water hose. If heavy soils are present and it appears necessary, use a strong, short bristled brush to agitate the surface.When product is applied to surfaces with biological growth, a bubbling reaction will occur on the surface. Apply product until this reaction subsides. This will signify that the biological growth has been removed. If necessary, apply a second or third treatment to the stone, and repeat the process as previously described. When finished, make sure to rinse the surface multiple times to ensure no residue is left behind – especially when a water repellent is to be applied afterwards. This product will not harm the surface if used as directed and can be applied as many times as needed. The product will work without the use of deionized water; however, it is recommended for superior performance. In many instances, a combination of different stone cleaning products is necessary for various stone surfaces depending on their level and type of staining.
