The Writing and Reading Activities for each topic chapter reinforce the vocabulary and structures presented in Chúng ta nói - Conversational Vietnamese .  After completing a corresponding sub-section in the textbook, the instructor can assign the appropriate exercises in the Workbook Manual and self-learners can start doing related exercises to reinforce their learning.  This section provides a variety of exercises to help learners review grammar points , practice using new vocabulary and grammar points introduced in the lessons of the main text, and develop reading and writing skills.  Some of these exercises can be done as group or pair activities in class or as homework.

            The Listening Activities section contains activities and questions based on the dialogues, monologues, or narratives recorded in the accompanying audio program.  In most listening activities, learners can answer the questions without understanding every word in the recording. These activities can be done in class, language laboratory, or at the learners' home.  All spoken material for the Listening Activities is recorded in the audio program available on line free of charge.

            Except for writing and reading exercises that require personalized and/or creative answers, the answers to all listening exercises and audio scripts are available on a password protected web page for instructors only.
