My massages can be calming, invigorating, soothing, or energizing. They can help you unwind, release tension, and feel more connected and alive in all areas of your body.  I specialize in Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue, though I also have training in Reflexology, Side-Lying Massage, and Thai Massage, and I incorporate those modalities into my massage sessions, depending on the needs and interests of the individual client.

I am a warm and friendly person, easy to talk to and relax with. I am very sensitive to the needs of my client. Whether you prefer a light touch or a strong hand, I am happy to provide a massage that will meet your body’s own specific needs. Tell me what feels good to you and we’ll go from there. You can feel free to moan, sigh, laugh, cry, make noise, talk, ask questions, or be still and silent. Some folks even fall asleep. I just continue with the massage and my clients wake up feeling refreshed and relaxed. 

I am very comfortable with bodies. I work with all body types. I am happy to work on you with or without draping. My massages are good for men folks, women folks, transgender folks, pregnant people, infants, and children.

Please note that though my massages have been called delicious, they are not sexual or erotic in nature. Though I happily work glutes and adductors for my clients, and though I do offer undraped massage to those who would prefer being massaged undraped, I do not do any genital massage or any perineal massage whatsoever. Please do not ask me to do any sexual services, either by email, over the telephone, or in person. The answer is no.  If you come to me looking for that kind of service, you will be disappointed.

My rates are as follows:

$40 / half-hour – I usually focus on one area with a half-hour massage. Perhaps you would like me to go deep into your back and shoulders. Or perhaps you’ve been running a lot this week and your legs could use some attention. Let me know what area of your body to focus on and I will give it my undivided attention.

$60 / 1 hour – The one hour massage is a good opportunity to address one side of the body, such as the whole rear of the body. Or, like the half-hour massages, a one-hour massage can be a good opportunity to take specific areas of the body and give them more dedicated attention.

$90 / 90 minutes; $120 / 2 hours – Longer massages are wonderful for the whole full-body experience. I will start with your neck, back, and shoulders, and work on down to your toes, and then when you think it can’t get any better, I roll you over onto your back, belly-side-up and start all over again.

$150 / 2.5 hours; $180 / 3 hours – Revel in the luxurious experience of a seemingly endless massage. It’s quite a wonderful thing. No rush, no worry, all will be well in the world.

My massage studio is located at 2376 Grande Vista Place, in Oakland, California.  It is easily accessible from both the 580 and 880 freeways and the 62 bus line (which runs to the Fruitvale, Lake Merritt, and West Oakland BART stations). 

There is ample non-metered street parking in the neighborhood.  You are welcome to shower here after your massage and fresh towels are available for your use.

I really enjoy giving massage. It is a very positive experience for me. I play music during my sessions – sometimes more traditional massage music & sometimes more eclectic, lively music that makes me happy & keeps me in my body. The joy that I am experiencing will be transmitted to you through my fingers. You are also welcome to bring an iPod or a CD with your preferred musical selections.

My hours this month are listed on my Schedule and Availability page. They vary from day to day according to my travel schedule and my other activities. In general, my availability will fall between the hours of 9:00am and midnight. I am open to giving massage on holidays (when I am in town) and on any day of the week when I do not have other obligations. 

Schedule as far in advance as you can, so that you have the greatest likelihood of getting a massage in the time slot that you would like. Often, securing your first choice time slot does require calling a day or two in advance. I do take same-day appointments when I am able, but I strongly encourage you to plan ahead, as I do get booked up.
