At the Annual Meeting on January 22, our congregation elected 6 Elders to the Session
and 9 Deacons to the Board of Deacons. The new Elders will be ordained
and Deacons will be installed at the regular church service on Sunday,
February 5 and will take office immediately.
Joining the Session are Pam Ritter, Ann Whitman and Kristin Winder
all of Chatham, John McCann of Madison, Rolf Edwards of Summit, and
Frank Medina of Millington. These people will join twelve other Elders
to make up the Session. The Session is responsible for the governing
and ministry of the Church.
New to the Board of Deacons are Anne Bangs, Lisa Boles, Pat Frank,
Barbara Haislip, and Brian Reilly all of Chatham, Stacy McCann and Alexa
McCourt of Madison, and Todd Black of New Providence. They will join
fourteen other Deacons to serve on the Board of Deacons and will be
responsible for ministering to those in need both within and beyond the
Church. ************************************************************************************** Worship services are held every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Children/Youth (Kindergarten through 8th grade) start in worship at 9:15 a.m. and then proceed to "Kingdom Come" Church School and the Breakfast club at 9:30 a.m. Nursery Care is provided during both services.Coffee & Fellowship is provided every Sunday after the 9:15 a.m. service in Mulford Hall. Practice will be every Sunday (unless notified) from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm in Halldorson Hall beginning January 22. ****************************************************************************************** 2012 Youth Mission Trip – Youth, age 16 and older, and adult leaders interested in going to New Orleans, Louisiana from Monday, June 25 to Sunday, July 1, 2012, to work with Habitat for Humanity are invited and encouraged to speak with Michelle Hayes.
