Since 1959, the Prairie Woods Chapter has pledged to strive for the purity of the water, the clarity of the air, and the wise stewardship of the land and its resources; and to know the beauty and understanding of nature, and the value of wildlife, woodlands, and open spaces; to the preservation of this heritage.

 

Our mission is to conserve, maintain, protect and restore the soil, forest, water, and other natural resources of Planet Earth; to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to such resources and their enjoyment and wholesome utilization.

 

The chapter is based in Becker County, located within northwestern Minnesota about an hour east of Fargo, ND - Moorhead, MN.
