Yuzan Maru POW roster The roster was recreated by James Erickson using records of POWs imprisoned on Taiwan obtained from the US National Archives (Record Group 407, Box 122) by Roger Mansell, and from the Col. Edmund J. Lilly POW papers held at the US Army Combined Arms Research Library ( http://www-cgsc.army.mil/carl/resources/archival/lilly/ejlinv.asp ). Belatedly, I discovered the same names were published in William Braly's 1947 book, "The Hard Way Home." The file is in delimited format, divided by semicolons. The "to Japan" column indicates the means by which the POW was later sent to Japan from Formosa.
