This site is about the Post Qualification Pathway for Alexander Technique Teachers. This is a practical and academic course accredited by The Open College Network (South East Region) http://www.ocnser.org.uk/Homepage/ It offers an opportunity for Alexander teachers to engage in research, reflective practice and to hone their teaching skills to a high level. There have been three courses to date, two in Rottingdean and one in Bristol. All the courses now run in Rottingdean at The White Horse Hotel, which is right on the beach and enjoys wonderful sea view. Below you can see Carolyn Nicholls and Astrid Holm, your tutors, with a course participant. We work in the Windmill Suite of The White Horse Hotel, which offers B&B as well as excellent food. Lunches, and tea/coffee breaks are included in the cost of the course.DATES FOR THE NEXT COURSE ARE TO BE ANNOUNCED Times: The Friday session starts at 6pm and we finish after lunch on Sunday Venue: White Horse Hotel High Street, Rottingdean, Brighton This is a STAT CPD course and you will receive a STAT CPD certificate for attending. Upon successful completion of a portfolio of work, you will receive certification of Award of Credit from the Open College Network. All portfolios of work are moderated by an academic board chaired by an independent moderator, appointed by OCN. Our moderator is Cathy Childs, a dance specialist from Chichester University and a keen supporter of our work.
