Overview 

• In private practice since 1976, specializing in individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, and group psychotherapy with adults.
• Areas of expertise include the treatment of depression, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship issues, bereavement and women's issues.
• Additional areas of exploration might include parenting or career issues, stress management, problem solving and communication.
• Four ongoing adult psychotherapy groups: one coed, three women; one meets Thursday morning.
• All groups focus on relationship issues and self-image/self-esteem issues.  Two of the women's groups particularly address issues of transition and meaning as one ages, in addition to the above.  More information regarding available groups can be found at this linked site.
  
• More intensive, psychoanalytically-oriented work or psychoanalysis when appropriate.
• Consultant to hospitals and agencies on individual and group therapy.
• Supervision and consultation for therapists doing individual and/or group therapy. Consultation group for senior group therapists meeting monthly.
  
• Currently a provider with Medicare.
