Friends of Possilpark Greenspace held its first meeting in December 2008, when we ratified our constitution and elected committee members.  We are a group of local residents who are concerned to raise the standard of our local environment.  We intend to do work in three main areas in the future:

1.    Temporary environmental and landscaping work on areas of open space which may be
       developed in the future.
2.    Permanent environmental, conservation and landscaping work on existing areas of                     greenspace within our community.
3.    Campaigning for changes in land-use designation directly with the Council, in order to       
       ensure a good provision of greenspace here in Possil.

There has been an informal group called simply Possilpark Greenspace since 2007, which has organised a number of community events over the last few years.

We are registered memebrs of the BTCV Community Network and have public liability insurance through the dedicated BTCV scheme
