Places Visited

A list of locations that the PCs have visited, beyond the keyed areas already on the map of Port Obsidian.
  1. "Flowers for Reginald" [Dabu, 9th Cantlos, 124 Y]
  • Ruins on the edge of the Bitter Leaf forest; 2 days out from Obsidian; discovered temple with a 2-headed snake statue, a husk hanging from the ceiling, and some sort of metallic seal, cracked, which a strange tentacle-faced monster squeezed out of.
    2. "Dirt" [Seb, 20th Cantlos, 124 YE]
  • Ruins on the coast, to the East; one day's travel. Discovered hobgoblins there, digging to uncover another 2-headed snake temple, complete with jade-eyes statue and a magical lore gem that Nix stole. The hobgoblins were looking for the object, but all the soldiers there were slain and the halfling slaves freed and sent on their way to Obsidian.
    3. "Looking for Shentai" [Dabu, 21st Cantlos, 124 YE]
  • Forbidden Love: the local brothel in Obsidian.
  • Shanty Town: where the halflings mostly 'live' and where Shentai was once hiding. Attacked there by three would-be muggers.
  • Fishermen's Friend: sailors tavern by the docks. Were 'Old Dean' is said to drink; he was possibly the last one seen talking to Shentai, the missing elf.
  • Hector's Winery: a mostly empty wine-bar that serves good wine but no ale. Looks like it might be going out of business soon.
    4. "Into the Swamp" [Cethir, 23rd Cantlos, 124 YE]
  • Ruins in the swamp to the west of the Bitterleaf forest: in the past and the present.
    5. "The Circus of Dreams" [The Festival of Renewal, 4 days, end of 124 YE]
  • The Circus of Dreams: now defunct after the death of the demonic Ring-Master.
    6. "Plague of Tentacles" [Obén, 15th Samonios, 125 YE]
  • Yig's Cavern and the secret headquarters of the cult calling itself the Whisperers in the Darkness.
  • The original ruined temple from the very first adventure.
     7.    "The Maker, The Menders and a Ghost" [Cobic, 26th of Samonios, 125 YE]
  • A petrified forest of webs, somewhere in the foothills that form a natural barrier halfway between the port and the Barrier Peaks.
  • The Fields of Black Glass; the volcanic waste before the ruined city at the foot of the volcano.
