Days of the week:
Each of the seven days of the week are given a simple name, that of the number of the day in the week using the old language of the ancient druids that inhabited the lands on which the Empire across the sea was founded. The exception to this are the festivals, which are four-day events and are simply referred to as the first, second and so on days.

Religious days are also days off from work, although some businesses open all week long.
Months of the year:
The world of Iona has a calendar of 12 months, each consisting of 4 seven-day weeks. Every other month ends with a four-day festival, which are social and/or religious events.
