2009 Admissions

School Choice Applications must be received by PPS by March 13th, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. in order to be included in the lottery. You may submit your application online (at the School Choice web site listed above) or via mail:

  1. MLC: Jan 28, Wed Information Night, 7:00 pm / February 10, Tuesday MLC Information Night, 7:00pm / February 18, Wednesday Visitor's Day Program, 10:00 am / March 3, Tuesday Visitor's Day Program, 10:00 am. Location 501 Dixon Street / 503-916-2000. Must submit application packet by February 20th.
  2. Sunnyside: Have 15 transfer slots open. Kingergarden round-up in Feb 3rd at 6pm, or 20th at 9am. 503-916-6226.

  5. Creative Sciences: Information nights for the 2009 – 2010 school year are scheduled: Thursday, February 5th from 6:30-8:00, Monday, March 2nd from 6:30-8:00.'
    1. Based on 2008/9 data, 50 slots were available for 92 applicants. 54% chance.
  6. Portland Village School: Charter school. Open house on January 24th. Tour of live kindergarden on February 3rd at 9am or 10am. Application process is seperate from PPS, and must be complete by February 20th.
