Well we did have some fun while it lasted. Thanks for those who made it out. We'll make a call to the City to straighten things out for our next night fly in 2012. One good thing though was that we proved the proof of concept, the runway lights worked out great and it is feasible to fly at the park when it's dark. See you at the meeting in November!

Stow Parks and Recreation has informed us that we cannot mow the field until after the Stow Blast.
This is to prevent damage to the field when cars park there if there is a lot of rain.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to enjoy the sunshine, flying and food! Bob's wife Penny did a great job with the 'super' sloppy joes. A lot of dust was flying off the planes this afternoon. This is an example of the additional events we're going to have more often this year. See you at the Library for our next meeting April 4. This will be our last indoor meeting until the Fall.

At the February meeting there was a vote and we're increasing the dues for this year to $15. We'll be using the extra funds for more club events and field improvements. If you've already paid $10 then make sure you pay the remainder due to the club Secretary at the next meeting.
