P.O.W.E.R. Organization is excited about helping girls make connections with mathematics.  It's an incredible experience to witness the light shining in the eyes of our young participants when they hear the powerful stories of influential women who are currently pursuing their dreams via higher education, careers in corporations, and their own businesses.

 

Many statistics and naysayers believe that girls are wired so differently that they will never occupy certain career fields. Our past participants have shown how Metro Detroit women are paving the way for Metro Detroit girls.  We celebrate them and encourage them to continue Making a Difference.

 

Tell us about the past experiences of you or your family with P.O.W.E.R. Organization girls conferences and programs.

P.O.W.E.R. Org has attracted POWERFUL women presenters who have committed their time to "show what they know".  Girls will be engaged and empowered to succeed with math. These women will give a "behind the scenes" view of how to own and operate successful businesses, how to climb the corporate ladder, how important planning career paths are, and how math helped to make it all possible!
