P.M. Workshop:  #204, Virtual Math and Science:  An exploration of math and science through virtual science labs--best of all it's a free resource!

The MIND project is a nationally recognized program (funded by the National Institutes of Health) designed to increase teacher-student usage of virtual technologies in the classroom. Through an innovative collaboration between Eastern Michigan University and Illinois State University, Dr. Simmons (one of the lead researchers on this $1.5 million project) will share this FREE public resource and provide information for teachers who would like to participate and students who would like to access the virtual labs from home.

Dr. Robert Simmons shared his experience growing up in Detroit near Livernois and Tireman, at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, and his journey to become one of the youngest professors at Eastern Michigan University.
