VOTER’S MEETING
All Prince of Peace Confirmed Members, 18 years of age and older, are encouraged to attend this morning’s Voter’s Meeting following the 10:15 service. YOUTH GROUP Next Sunday, Nov. 1st, the Youth Group will meet at the Coralville Recreation Center from 4-6:00pm to play pool, basketball, and other activities. Bring a friend and join us for lots of fun! Pizza and drinks will be provided.
ALL SAINTS’ DAY Next Sunday, Nov. 2nd, is All Saints’ Day. If you would like the name of a Christian relative or friend remembered during the services, please contact Pastor Otto.
POTATO AND A MOVIE The Fellowship Committee invites everyone to attend the 6:00 p.m. dinner and movie event on Wednesday, Nov. 11th. Come, and pile all the fixings you can on a baked potato and enjoy watching the Luther Movie (Rated PG-13). A children’s movie will also be shown, bring the entire family!
SOUP Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will host a soup luncheon, Sunday, Nov. 8th following the 10:15 service. Sign-up to bring desserts or a relish tray. Proceeds from the luncheon will support the Christian Preschool. Items on their wish list include a community drum, math toys, and parent resource books. |
