SOUP LUNCHEON
- Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will host a soup luncheon this morning following the 10:15 service. The free-will-offering will support Preschool Director Jenni Bounds’ “wish list” which includes a community drum, math toys, and parent resource books. Everyone is invited! - Continue to bring your Campbell’s Soup labels (the bar code from the label is needed) and box top’s collection for the Christian Preschool. The labels and box tops are redeemable for toys, playground equipment or supplies for the Preschool. The collection box is located in the kitchen on the shelf. Your continued support is appreciated! PIES, PIES, AND MORE PIES Today is the LAST day to order your pies for the upcoming holidays from the Human Care Committee. Choose from apple ($10), pecan ($10) and pumpkin ($9.00). Order forms are in Member mailboxes. Proceeds will benefit Camp I-O-Dis-E-Ca. “SPUDS” Bring your family and friends this Wednesday evening, November 11th. Baked potatoes and toppings along with hotdogs will be served at 6:00 pm. The Luther movie and a children’s movie will begin at 6:30 pm. Kids, bring your sleeping bags and pillows. Planning to attend, sign-up sheet is located in the Fellowship Hall. Even if you did not sign-up, come any way! LOYALTY SUNDAY Members, next Sunday, Nov. 15th, is Loyalty Sunday. Last week you should have received a packet which included a 2010 Pledge form. Bring your Pledge next Sunday as the Pledges will be collected at each service. Your Pledge assists the Treasurer in planning the mission budget for the new year. If you forgot to bring your Pledge form, you can mail it or bring it to the church. The Time and Talent survey will be distributed next Sunday. |
