Ponteland is an attractive village just outside the Newcastle upon Tyne boundary just to the North of Newcastle Airport. The Methodist Church lies in the centre of the village and serves the village itself together with the surrounding areas including the Darras Hall Estate. The population of the area is approximately 10,000.
