mile walk at Bellingham led by Ann & Bob Cooper. Meet at church
at 10am – all welcome.
Beautiful
wooded valley walk up to Hareshaw Lynn waterfall, path occasionally
steep and rocky. Recommend boots, walking poles and packed lunch.
Several nice cafes in Bellingham for post-walk refreshments, but
propose cafe at old station heritage centre in refurbished train,
recently opened by local girl. Phone 824347 for further information.

“It’s
a hard ride for easy chairs” As
many of you are aware alterations to the church foyer are to be
undertaken which will provide a moveable partition to the Stobert
room.. In consequence refurbishment will be required. Peter Michell
and John Orton have agreed that their present cycle ride could be
used for sponsorship to partly achieve this. Further details are on
display in the foyer or you can speak to Alan Groves.
Our
intrepid cyclists have already reached The Shetland Isles, having
cycled 297 miles in 5 stages, having climbed 10,620 feet and burned
15,180 calories each and only needed waterproofs once.

A
crèche is available each Sunday morning in the Stobert Room

children up to the age of 3 years.
Wearers
of hearing aids can tune into the loop system during all church
services.
A
loop system is also installed in the upper room and in the hall but
you need to ask a steward to make it operative.
There
is a valued informal atmosphere at our church though we do ask that
conversations are held quietly before worship.
If
you have people (or other subjects of intercessory prayer) for whom
you wish the church to pray, please obtain a prayer card from a door
steward. When you have completed the card, please give it to the
