STEPPING STONES
STEPPING STONES – is the name of our junior church which meets each week, except during the school summer holidays. Stepping Stones starts at 10:00am and runs concurrently with the Sunday morning worship service. After taking part in the first part of morning worship, the young people leave for their own activities designed to help them become more familiar with Bible stories and to think about some of the important beliefs and principles of Christianity. These activities conclude at about the same time as the morning service.
As well as meeting with friends and having fun together, the young people have the opportunity to take steps forward in their faith – guided, encouraged and challenged by the leaders. The activities include praise and prayer and may include craft work, games, singing and even cooking - all linked to a theme for the day. We have a lot of fun, so if you are aged between about three and sixteen why not come and join us? CRECHE
During the Sunday Morning Service, a creche is provided for children up to the age of three. YOUTH GROUP The Youth Group meets every Sunday evening at 8.00pm at the Church and our activities range from social to spiritual, with speakers, games, workshops and varied discussions!. If you are in year 8 or older please come along and join in!.PUSHCHAIR CLUB The Pushchair Club is for mothers with their younger children. The club meets in an informal atmosphere every Friday afternoon during term time from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. The afternoon includes lots of toys, a craft table, refreshments, singing and stories.
