Q: Can our friends and relatives visit us at the Park even though they are not 55 or older? - R & J, Phoenix, AZ
A: Members may have guests stay in the “guest space” on their lots for up to 14 nights per visit and a total of 21 nights total per season. The member must be present while their guest is in the Park, and is responsible for all guest behavior. The guest must pay the current guest fee for each night they are in the Park (this covers the cost of extra utilities used). Members should refer to the Park Rules for further details!
Q: Is it necessary to participate in group activities? I am anti-social and would rather stay in my trailer all the time! - S, Fairbanks, AK
A: Members are not required to socialize with each other. However, in the interest of neighborliness, it is recommended that each member contribute in some way to the atmosphere of camaraderie and good nature that exists in the Park.
Social activities are part of our non-profit organization’s purpose, and the majority of the Park’s maintenance, upkeep, and improvements are provided by Member volunteers’ labor. Certainly not all Members are physically able to perform strenuous work chores, and not everyone likes to play cards.
Generally everyone pitches in to help in whatever way they can! This is how we keep the Park in good shape, and how we make new friends and learn from each other!
Q: Can we buy more than one lot and then sell one of them to make some money? - T & T, Los Angeles, CA
A: No.
Q: I am a computer nerd and my wife can't miss her afternoon soaps and the weekly wrestling matches. Does the Park have WIFI and Cable TV? - S & F, Sun Lakes, AZ
A: Most of our members are computer literate and most have a TV. The Park has its own WIFI network and all lots are wired for Cable TV, DSL, and wireless phone provided by CableOne. Satellite coverage is excellent!
