![]() Polytechnic London Water Polo Club has a proud history stretching way back to 1874. The club is based in central London and is one of the oldest and most successful water polo clubs in the UK. Although we are competitive and take our water polo seriously we are also a friendly and sociable club. If you are interested in joining one of our teams or maybe getting involved in the club in some other way please feel free to contact us. Mens Water Polo: we have two mens teams: The 1st team competes in Division 1 of the British Water Polo League, and a 2nd team that plays in the local London Leagues. Womens Water Polo: we have a womens team that competes in the National Womens Water Polo League and also the local London Leagues. Student Water Polo: Poly has a symbiotic relationship with London Student Water Polo, providing coaching and support to both the mens and womens University of London teams. Student players benefit from coaching and support from the club to help give them the opportunity to compete in both the National League and the British University Championships. Junior Water Polo: we are collaborating with Clissold Swimming Club to provide and develop water polo at both youth and senior level. We have sessions for U12, U14 and U16 and we regularly compete against other junior teams from the region and in the local London League competitions. Click here for more details.
