Dr. Dana Ashkenazi received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University and her first and second degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Ben-Gurion University, Israel.

Her Ph.D. focused on the determination of critical interface energy release rates for bonded materials.

Dr. Ashkenazi is conducting research and is teaching courses in the field of Materials Science and Engineering at Tel-Aviv University and also has great interest in popular science, art and archaeology.
