Since Oméga is not willing to stop html level trolling (either Ode has hacked the forum or is being helped by a moderator), I reluctantly asked him (Oméga, not Ode au Persil) to close my account. 
Oméga (?) complied with my request around Christmas 2006.
When Mr. Ode has the power to secretly change his own data, or WORSE : other people's data (as which happened with Turenne), debates in Politiquebec become a joke.
I have deleted about 90% of my postings.
I have asked Oméga to delete the remaining 10% of my data.
Oméga has not yet done so.
A minor question of intellectual honesty...

(I have made minor modifications on my original letter for more clarity. The problem is that Ode au Persil changed data (his own and Turenne's) on different occasions. Thus, without commentary, things could get rather confusing...)
Originally I had a google cache version to prove my point. However, since google updated the cache, this is now meaningless. Darn! However, it should be mentioned that at least two administrators and Oméga (to say nothing of many ordinary members of politiquébec) had the chance to see the cache version before it was replaced. If you are a member of this forum (in the international section), check with other members as to what was going on.
Is Ode a moderator?

Since when does Ode have the right to modify his postings without this appearing publicly on the screen? Usually one gets such a notice:

I am speaking about a situation where other people already have posted after Mr. Ode.
The situation here is the following:
Today, I quoted Ode ( his original article was written on Ven Oct 13, 2006 at 9:34 a.m.) with copy/paste (red color added):
(My copy/paste of what Ode had written was registered on Nov 14, 2006 at 5:06 a.m. )

However, on Nov 14, 2006 at around 10:55 a.m., I discovered that what Ode had previously written had secretly (without any indication at the bottom of his essay!) been changed ( between 5:06 a.m. and 9:19 a.m. on Nov 14, 2006) to:

(On December 8 (?), Ode au Persil erased most of the relevant data related to this controversy. This time "legally" - so there is a record of it.)

Fortunately (I was doubting my own eyes), Turenne quoted Mr. Ode on Oct 31, 2006 at 11:17 a.m. :

(On December 6 or 7, 2006 (Pearl Harbor Day

The point of this is that Ode is abusing his privileges to win arguments:
(As stated above, on December 8 (?), Ode erased most of the relevant data related to this controversy. To be fair, it should be stated that I had previously (on December 8) made the decision of erasing 90% of my entries in politiquébec - three hours of work.
Why did I delete my postings? So that Mr. Ode would not be able to change what I had written : this was when I was in shock after seeing what had happened to Turenne.)

P.S. Hopefully, you have the original copy of the posting or the ability to see when the last modification of Ode's post was made. Since this was done yesterday and there is no (public) record of a change, this would be incriminating.
You might also want to talk with Sir and AncientWinds. Both have noticed this manipulation as well.
At the moment I am in somewhat of a difficult situation. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but if Ode can change his own writings without any record, what will stop him from perverting my writings?
Thus, I will NOT be posting until this problem has been solved. Should any postings appear under my "name", just check the IP.
I am not getting on my moral high horse about this - I don't want Ode banned or anything.

I would beg to differ. Mr. Ode had the text secretly changed (sinologue to sinophile so that he could publicly "prove" that I am a liar. After all, most people will look at what he has written and assume that I have deliberately misquoted him - when there is no public indication (with the relevant date) that he changed the data. To put things more precisely, under normal circumstances there would be a note at the bottom of his essay that would indicate that it had been changed AFTER I cited him.

You may feel that this is minor, but if moderators and Mr. Ode are allowed to cooperate together to "virtually terminate" his opponents, then one no longer has an equal playing field in this forum. To say nothing of that this is extremely dishonest in an intellectual sense.

(As of January 6, 2007, Ode au Persil went too far and was banned. Ode started to fight with Oméga in order to support Abou Ouweis - who in turn supports the Islamic Jihad. Oméga is a patriot and supports Canadian troops in Afghanistan.)
Later (after he was fired as moderator at quebec-politique) he returned to politiquebec. )
