Po’Kitties Pet Photo Contest 2008
Foothills Humane Society’s Po’Kitties Program is our innovative feral cat trap-neuter-return program. Volunteers trap feral cats, who are then sterilized, vaccinated, and ear tipped before being returned to managed colonies. Check out our website at www.pokitties.com!
Enter a photo of your pet! It will be displayed at the Red Clover Art Gallery from Wednesday, October 15 at 11:00 am until Saturday, October 19 .at 3:00 pm.
On Thursday, October 16, which is not only National Feral Cat Day but also Po’Kitties 1st Anniversary, there will be a reception from 5-8 pm. The public is invited to attend. Promptly at 6:30 pm, Randy Grobe will host the Awards Ceremony, which will honor the winners of the contest, acknowledge and thank our generous donors, and distribute prizes. So enter your pet’s photo today, and bring your family and friends on October 16 to see the photo of your pet hanging in the Red Clover Gallery!

Viewers Choice: Containers will be placed in front of several photos – viewers will vote by donating money to Po’Kitties and placing their donations in the container in front of the photo of their choice. Whichever photo “earns” the most money wins! Winner will be announced and special prize will be awarded at 2:00 pm at Foothills Humane Society’s Annual Open House on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Call 828-863-4444 for directions.
