SIG Focus

Teacher: We will focus on how teachers can use podcasts for different purposes in education. We will also look at the use of podcasts as a tool for disseminating information to parents, students, etc.

Student: We will show how podcasting can increase motivation in students, how students can benefit from podcasting in the classroom, and how students can create their own podcasts.

Subject Matter: We intend to show that podcasting can be used in all subject areas. We will include sample podcasts and ideas for how this can be accomplished.

Context: We will discuss different uses and purposes for using podcasts. Examples include using podcasts as a teaching tool, as a parent communication piece, and as an assessment method.
