The Pembroke Meadows Marlins Swim Team (PMMST) is a summer swim team of about 180 swimmers from age 4 to age 18 that competes in the Virginia Beach Swimming League's (VBSL) Dolphin division. The Marlins have enjoyed great success in the past ten years: Two-time undefeated Dolphin Division Champions in 2007 and 2005, two-time Dolphin Division runners-up in 2009 and 2008, and Three-time undefeated Marlin Division Champions in 2003, 2002, and 2001! Coach Paul has been in the aquatics field for 19 years, with 13 years as a coach, 10 of those for Pembroke Meadows. During that time we’ve had 4 undefeated division championships, 2 in the Marlin division and 2 in the Dolphin division. Paul committed 10 years coaching winter swim league for the City of Virginia Beach. During the winter he is the Assistant Coach for PA High School. Emily Quinn
Coach Emily is in her fifth year coaching Pembroke Meadows, and has been a Marlin since since age seven. A former captain of the Princess Anne High team, she graduated in 2006 and currently attends George Mason University as a biology major. Evan Wrenn
Coach Evan is in his fourth year at PM, and has been a Marlin since 2004. A 2007 graduate and team captain at Princess Anne High, he currently attends George Mason University where he studies International Relations and is president of the club swim team.
Ashley Luchsinger Coach Ashley is in her second year coaching for PM, and has been a Marlin since 2009. After swimming for First Colonial High, she graduated in 2009 and currently swims for Old Dominion University. Where We Swim |
