PMP certification indicates both training and experience in the field of project management. As the business world continues to emphasize the use of projects to maintain a competitive edge employers have discovered the ease of searching for trained and experienced project managers by starting with individuals holding the PMP Certification. The PMI Willamette Valley Chapter, Corvallis Branch will be holding a 10-Week (35-hour) education class to prepare you to take the PMP Exam. This is not just a study group but a full class with education about the PMI-way of managing projects as well as ideas and strategies on how to pass the certification exam on your first try taught by local PMPs that have been through it. Vicki received her Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from the Evergreen State College in 2002 and went on to achieve her PMP in 2005. She has been successful in delivering varied projects, from infrastructure to web applications in both the business analyst and project management roles.
