About the Topic

The tools that we choose to fill our toolbox can make or break our success as Project Managers.  Additionally they dictate the success and efficiency of the project and team.  A common misconception is that Microsoft Project is the staple of the PM’s toolbox and constitutes the project plan.  While it is decent for scheduling it falls short of the numerous other aspects involved in developing and executing a detailed project plan.   This session is designed to highlight various tools and techniques used to manage several high profile projects.  We will walk through 2 specific real world examples where projects were delivered on time and under budget all without the use of MS Project.
