Beginning on February 29, 2012 Eugene PMI will be offering a Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Prep Course that will help project managers prepare for the PMP® and CAPM® certification exams. The Eugene Branch is excited to be using the professionally prepared InAct® curriculum from Velociteach in 2012. The InAct® curriculum is structured from the perspective of PMI’s nine knowledge areas of project management with an agenda that follows the concept of 17 lesson modules including Professional and Social Responsibility. Course participants will receive 24 hours of in-class exam preparation time and complete 12 hours of independent study online to complete the requisite 36 hours necessary to sit for the PMP or CAPM exam.

The Course will be taught on Wednesday evenings from 6-9 pm over the course of 8 weeks at the EWEB Headquarters Building. Class size will be limited to 12 students. Materials for the Exam Prep Course included in registration fee (to be provided at first session):

  • Velociteach – Industry Leading PM Materials Student Workbook.
  • Subscription to online study material.
  • A copy of "The PMP Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try, Fourth Edition" by Andy Crowe

The cost of the Exam Prep Course is $650 for nonmembers and $500 for members of the PMI Willamette Valley Chapter. For you nonmembers – the cost of membership is $144!
