Reduce Resource Use

Every action counts.  We can all make adjustments, even small ones, that will minimize our use of resources.  Try some of these:

Drive less: Ride the bus to school, walk, bike or car pool as often as you can.  This not only saves you money on gas and vehicle maintenance but reduces the causes of global warming and pollution.

Reusing water bottles: Recycling is great; however you can greatly decrease resource use if you refill your water bottle instead of constantly recycling new ones day after day.

Turning off lights, computers, and computer monitors when not in use.

Reducing water use: Try your best to do full loads when washing dishes and clothes.Take shorter showers and turn off water while brushing your teeth.

Use energy conserving compact florescent light bulbs.
