Printer Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling Drive
We will be officially kicking off our collection contest this month. At the end of each 9-week grading period collections will be tallied for each classroom. The classroom with the highest donation count between the Kindergarten and First grade classes will receive the 'Clean Water' award. A cute little stuffed animal will be presented to the winning class for them to care for and learn more about over the next 9-weeks. The class will receive a certificate to display outside of their classroom door. The same will be done for the 2nd vs. 3rd graders 'Save the Trees' award and the 4th vs. 5th graders 'Clean Air' award. Check the banner to the left, 'collection contest,' for updates. Students can drop their donations in their classroom collection box. Your room parent will tally the items and drop them in the larger collection box in the lobby. Thanks room parents for your help!!! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT SEND IN REMANUFACTURED INK CARTRIDGES OR CELL PHONES WITHOUT THEIR BATTERY! See qualifying list.
Rechargeable Battery Recycling
A collection box from Call2Recycle will be placed in the main lobby as soon as it arrives. Please drop in the battery only and check to see that it is of one of the following types:
On Campus Paper Recycling
Paper recycling bins are in each classroom and other staff areas. The paper is then placed in the red ang green dumpsters behind the school for collection by S&P Recycling. Thanks to the staff for their cooperation in this effort. more info

Look for our PTA recycling cans before you toss your trash at the PTA events.
