Our club contributes over 80% of the proceeds from a variety of fund raisers to local, state and national organizations that support environmental and horticultural causes. We also award annual college scholarships to Plymouth-Canton High school students.
The Plymouth Garden Club
We are the Plymouth Michigan Branch of the Michigan Division of the Woman's National Farm and Garden Association. Organized in 1914, the Woman's National Farm and Garden Association is one of the oldest women's organizations in the United States. It was founded as a support group for the School of Horticulture for Women at Ambler, PA. The objectives were to promote agricultural and horticultural interests throughout the country. Our goal is to help in the development of international understanding and good will among women of all nations.
