I'm a writer disguised as a computer guy who's lived at one time or another in every section of the country except the northeast, unless you count New Jersey. Currently I'm a resident of Conglomeration, Texas.

Outside the US I've spent time in Southeast Asia and Mexico, but have a long list of other places I want to visit. Were I financially independent, travel would occupy a large part of my time.

My favorite traveling companions are my wife, son, and daughter. They're as curious as I am and always ready to embark on a new adventure. At the present time we're still exploring the interesting state of Texas, to which we moved after 20 years in Southern California.

Wife and I met at a university in the Los Angeles area that has since been absorbed by a yet larger university. My education is theological, with large doses of communication, english, and history, and these are still the main things I'm interested -- but there's always more!

I have a cat but she don't particularly like to travel.
