Dudley Martin describes himself as a "Country Boy". He grew up in and around the farmlands of East Sussex and spent his early years providing a helping hand on the family farm. Later he settled in the Chiltern Hills of Buckinghamshire, where he still lives surrounded by hundreds of acres of National Trust beech woodland and the wildlife it harbours.

A lover of nature and "the way things used to be", Dudley decided he wanted to bring scenes of every day English country life into the home. What better way to do this than capturing images on beautiful fine bone china wall clocks, plates, platters, mugs and vases.

From the heart of the English countryside, Dudley invites you to look through the following pages at some of the items he has had commissioned by customers from countries far and wide.

Somewhere in the World, plates, mugs, wall clocks and vases prepared by Dudley reflect times gone by and ensure that "there's some corner of a foreign field that is for ever England".
