Providence K-8 School students recently researched the components of the solar system (planets, moon, and sun) using nonfiction books in the Library Media Center. The students wrote facts on the solar system and colored a mini-poster of their planet, moon, or star. The students presented their research orally to their classmates. The students also watched a Magic School Bus video on the solar system. Lastly, the students used the computer program, Paint, to create their own planet.
