I envision this site as an evolving photomeditation on place, touching on some of the places I have been.  For several years I have collected photos of places with the idea that I might use them to illustrate lectures. Unfortunately, many of these early pictures are slides (remember slides?). The advent of affordable digital cameras represents a cultural moment analogous to when old Brownie box cameras went on the market, and high resolution digital images restore a level of detail to photography that has been rare since  daguerreotype went out of style. Digital cameras are revolutionizing the way people interact with places.
