Introduction

 
PJ Gach is a the Senior Editor: Style+Beauty for BettyConfidential.com. Recently she gave a speech during Internet Week in New York City for SpaWeeek.com's seminar on disconnecting from the web.
 In the past, she was the Interim Senior Editor for Sheckys.com, a women's lifestyle destination site.
 
She is also the author of  Crazy for Cody: An Unauthorized
Biography - Penguin Books. It was published in June, 2009.

PJ is currently finishing a book proposal for a non-fiction series targeted to the tween market.
 
In the past PJ has covered pop culture, and  has also written promotional materials for non profits, penned spots for commercial radio, as well as covering sex and grooming for men's magazines. 

A versatile writer, her Op Eds have appeared in the New York Post. PJ has contributed pop culture and fashion pieces to Lemondrop.com, an AOL site. For Lemondrop.com PJ was the liaison between the site and fashion pr firms and acquired an item for the site for their first ever promotional give-away.

PJ also created, organized, edited  and oversaw the two 2005 Holiday Gift Guides for the New York Press, as their Gift Guide Editor. And she contributed a fashion piece for them as well.

PJ has been a freelancer for Rolling Stone.com since 1997. Her work has appeared in other notable publications such as The New York Post, Metro.Pop, Ingenue, Drill, Slant (UK), Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, Bop and Gear magazines.

She's been  a Contributing Writer and Columnist for the Style Section EDGE Publications. EDGE Publications has 13 city sites (NYC, LA, Las Vegas, Dallas, SF, Chicago, Boston,Fire Island, Providence, Provincetown,Philadelphia, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale,), 1 regional site (EDGENewEngland.com), and one national site (EDGEUnitedStates.com).


PJ has contributed to national and international magazines and websites. As an editor, she has overseen staff and freelance writers, fact checked, copy-edited and top edited pieces, ushered articles through all facets of the production process. She has also assisted in creating an editorial calendar and assigning pieces.


PJ has an encyclopedic knowledge and love of fashion, music, and odd arcane factoids. She is also an amateur clothing archivist.
