Seven Rovers and two Advisers started the Crew in September 2000. Those first Rovers chose our name.
The Crew was named after the Scottish Clan MacLeod. They have chosen this name because the members of the Sint Maarten (Saint Martin) Scout Group wear the tartan of that Clan (MacLeod of Harris) as their group scarf.
The Rover Crew is a part of the Sint Maarten Scout Group. Sint Maarten is a Scout Group from Valkenswaard in the southern part of the Netherlands.

The Crew is a mixed group and if you're between 17 and 23 jears old, you can join us. 
Every Friday evening the Rovers meet to do real scouting activities or just be together, to talk about what they did since the last time they met, and have a few drinks while doing so. They organize there own activities, supported by their advisers. They have got their own board that represents them in the Scout Group and some members are already leader of one of the younger age-groups.
