PRSEF

The Pittsburgh Local Section of the American Nuclear Society is a proud contributor to the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair, and provides judges to award projects which are related to nuclear science and technology.
 
In 2011, the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair (PRSEF) will celebrate its 72nd year of open competition of research projects in the fields of science, mathematics and engineering on April 1 (competition day) and April 2 (awards ceremony) at Heinz Field. This competition is open to all students in grades 6-12 from 23 counties in Western Pennsylvania and three counties in West Virginia.

 

Sponsor Schedule for the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair

The Sponsor Award Judge/Presenter schedule for Friday, April 1, 2011, follows:
12:30 pm - 1:00 pm Registration/Lunch - Press Box Heinz Field
1:00 pm - 1:15 pm Orientation - Press Box Heinz Field
1:15 pm - 2:00 pm View projects without students
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Student Interviews at Projects / Results Form Submission / Student Award Presentations at Projects
The above schedule allows for Sponsor Judging and Presentation of the Sponsor Award to be conducted within two hours. If you desire additional judging time, there will be an early-bird session from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 (review projects without students); 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (interview students). Awards cannot be presented until after 2:00 p.m.
