Welcome to Pittsburgh ALT.NET

Pittsburgh ALT.NET is a Pittsburgh area user group interested in exploring and promoting the tools, ideas, and practices of the "ALT.NET" community.(What is Alt.Net?)

Although we may have a .NET slant, the topics discussed are applicable to all professional software developers, regardless of your language of choice. Members include individuals who develop with what works but always keep an eye out for a better way. They reach outside the mainstream to adopt the best of any community: Open Source, Agile, Java, Ruby, etc. Meetings are informal and conducted in a friendly, casual atmosphere. New members are always welcome.

Join us for the June ALT.NET Meeting at Matrix Solutions on Tuesday, June 22 at 6PM.

Note that this meeting won't have a single presenter, it will all about group discussion.  So start thinking about your experience with both of these topics and come prepared to share :)

Follow Galveston Avenue all the way to the end, passing through pillars on each side into our parking lot (which is shared with a couple of other businesses.)  Park anywhere in the lot.  We are in the section of the building that is past Czarnowski Exhibits.  The employee entrance (which is well marked) is located near the rear of the parking lot, tucked back on the left.  Press the buzzer and someone will let  you in.  The office is at the top of the steps.
