The United Tartans Pipe Band is a non profit organisation based in Belgium. It was set up a few
years ago by a small group of pipers from various bands who eventually came together by way of personal
connections and for practical reasons as well. The name of the band reveals the variety of origins of
its members who indeed wished to keep the colours (i.e. the tartan) of their respective original band.
This adds a visual and didactic dimension to the group.
