- Without prejudice, to act as a support and advisory group to West Midlands Police & Other Police agencies/Organisations
- To actively promote and support the reporting of all aspects of homophobia/ Hate crimes, Domestic Abuse in LGBT relationships, and any other form of injustice affecting the LGBT Community
- To actively engage with Birmingham Community Partnership in supporting the aims of the Partnerships Hate Crime agenda
- To support other groups actively promoting equality for the LGBT community
- In the Open spirit of Partnership and trust as a “critical friend”
- To promote Pink shield in a positive and interactive manner, and to engage in a constructive partnership working with other agencies
