Moira Gets Lost (30 mins)

Moira Gets Lost, a film set in Montréal, follows the story of a recovering junkie, Adam (28) and his relationship with the devious eleven year-old Moira, a girl he baby-sits.  Although initially Moira tries to shun Adam, they develop a close bond, as they share a sense of lack of control over their lives.  When Moira decides she's going to run away and start her own free life, Adam realizes she is trying to emulate him.  Both are faced with the conflict of looking for individual freedom in a conformist world, and juggling personal happiness with the complex network of relationships and responsibilities they have.

Dépanneur (15 mins)

Dépanneur is a film about Marie-Ève Raymond's attempt to escape from the seedy world of strip clubs and become a dance teacher.  When she is rejected because of the five-year blank in her resume, she gets a job at a dépanneur to fill in the time.  As she attends to a stream of strange male customers, she begins to realize that the dépanneur contains a far sketchier and more depressed clientele than any bar she's ever stripped at.
