It's all about quality of posture and moves, precision and control of our whole body. Specific breathing technique is also used to reach internal muscles and activate the fluids' circulation. The intensity of the exercises is adapted to each person, and it is progressively increased as the physical skills improve. Therefore, progression is the key to achieve a high control of our body, starting with easy moves to learn the basic principles and later when ready, doing more complex exercises that require experience, control and self-awareness. Practising Pilates will never hurt since it is absolutely respectful with your body, taking into cosideration our physical limitations and natural anatomical behaviour. Furthermore, it can be a great help relieving your body from pain and stress. A moment for yourself, where you can relax while working out your core muscles (specially abdominals, outter and inner layers). A Pilates session includes a variety of exercises to improve your physical health in different ways: breathing, stretching, core work out, balance and coordination, posture and movement control, joints move-range improvement, and general body alignment.
