What is SMS?
 
SMS is an acronym for Short Message Service. SMS is a facility by which you can send and receive small alphanumeric messages between cellular phones and between computers and cellphones. The general method used in short message service is to enter messages through cellphones and send them to one or groups of people from cellphones. Here, you will have to send the message individually to unknown numbers. Group messaging from cellphones is possible only when the numbers of the group are already fed into the cellphone.

How do I register for the service?
You can register with us by sending us the following details by email to info@pik.in 
          a)   Email id which will be the username for your account
          b)   Mobile no: - your personal / company number
          c)   Sender Id - this can have maximum of 8 characters only - for eg. PiKGroup, Dr.Jacob, I Mark etc. 
                     (please verify the TRAI Guidelines on Sender ID - PDF file downloadable attachment at the bottom of this page)
                     Once you have taken a sender id, you can register your mobile number to be used as the sender id on your own.
          d)   No: of sms credits you wish to purchase - you can buy them in lots of  250  /  500  /  1,000  /  2,500  /  5,000  /  10,000
          e)   Mode of payment (click the link below to know more about the pricing and payment options). Please note that there are no
                     separate charges for registration. You need to pay only for the sms lots you purchase
          f)    Authorization letter concerning use of Sender ID (you may take a printout of the appropriate word document attached below, 
                     affix signature(s) and seals. Please forward us a scanned copy of the form by email.).
