Short Bio: Pierre-Yves Vandenbussche received a B.Sc.
(2004) in Biology from Lille I University (France), a M.Engg. (2007) in
Computer Science and Engineering from Ecole Privée des Sciences Informatiques,
Arras (France), a M.Sc. (2007) in Knowledge Representation and Modeling from Ecole
Centrale de Lille (France), a M.Sc. (2007) in Enterprise Interoperability from European
Virtual Laboratory for Enterprise Interoperability (financed by European Commission)
and a PhD. (2011) in Information Technology from Paris VI University (France).
He
is currently a researcher in Mondeca's company and in INSERM French medical
research laboratory. P-Y. Vandenbussche research interests are mainly in the
application of semantic web technologies for data publication and knowledge
organization systems management.
He
has been leading two major projects of terminology server integration, AnaBio
for the French Paris Hospitals (Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris) and
InterSTIS research project. He is currently leading the Datalift research
project for the development of a semantic data publication platform. Recently,
P-Y. Vandenbussche is spearheading efforts for an applied research entity
“Mondeca Labs” that promotes software experiments. His Mondeca Labs research
projects include the Linked Open Vocabularies (LOV) and Public SPARQL Endpoints
