I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics of Pomona College (Claremont, California 91711, USA).
I earned a Ph.D. degree in Economics at the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, Maryland, USA) in May 2009, under the supervision of Jon Faust and Tiemen Woutersen. My additional references are Jonathan Wright and H. Peyton Young.
My research interests are in the fields of Econometrics, Time Series Econometrics, Empirical Macroeconomics and Finance. I focus on issues relating to business cycle synchronization, the leading properties of the term structure of interest rates for real economic activity, the dynamic behavior of nominal interest rates and interest rate spreads, and the statistical and cyclical characteristics of disaggregated international capital flows.
I am on currently on sabbatical from Pomona College (until the end of August 2013).
