General Notes:
The Security and Safety Committee is responsible for the well-being of our students and volunteers during the after-prom celebration.
The Chair of this committee coordinates with the local Cheif of Police and Fire Chief to establish fire safety plans and security procedures.
This committee ensures that all volunteers are properly identifiable with name badges. It also tracks student check in/out times.
Check In/Out Volunteers:
- Conduct student sign-up for after-prom. (conduct raffles to encourage student sign-up and attendance)
- Provide running totals to printing committee
- Check-in students upon arrival.
- Record student early departures
- Students must be accompanied by security to get anything from their vehicles once they have signed in
- Students must have signed up to gain entry
- Ensure that each Door Monitor is familiar with locations of Fire Alarms
